Future World Changers:
Ottolyn Dennis:
Ottolyn was born in Liberia and now lives in Albany. If they made a stamp of her it would have her face on it. In social studies she would like to learn more about maps. Two places Ottolyn would like to visit are France and Brazil. A person from history she would like to meet is Barack Obama. Ottolyn's favorite food is lasagna, favorite colors are blue, green, and red, favorite game is checkers, favorite animal is a dog, favorite subject is math, and favorite season is summer because it's warm and there are flowers. If she could have a super power, she would choose flight so she could see above the clouds. When Ottolyn grows up she would like to be a doctor. She shared her sparkly poodle purse and some of her stuffed animals. Ottolyn told us about her family and answered questions from her classmates. She is sure to be a "Future World Changer"!

If they made a stamp featuring Christopher, he would be on it with a truck. In social studies he would like to learn about rockets. A place he would like to visit is Canada because he'd like to see lots of moose. A person from history he would like to meet is the person who wrote the "I Survived" books. Christopher's favorite food is meatloaf, favorite colors are red and blue, favorite season is winter because there are more deer out, and favorite subject is P.E. because he likes basketball. If Christopher could have a super power, he would choose to fast forward to the future because he would like to disappear to different places. Christopher shared his Lego creations with the class. He told us about his family and pets, and answered questions from his classmates. He is sure to be a "Future World Changer"!

People from history he would like to meet are the people who made farming what it is today. Some of his favorite things include tractors, semis, combines, cows, bobcats, deer, and 4 wheelers. Some of his favorite foods include smore's, Hershey bars, pancakes, watermelon, grapes, chocolate milk, and corn. Eric's favorite meal is chicken nuggets, favorite subject is math, favorite season is summer because he like to go swimming, favorite color is orange, and favorite holiday is Christmas because he likes to see his friends and family. The children read their research reports and shared their paper mache animals with their classmates. They can be proud of their hard work!

Wednesday afternoon we walked to the neighborhood park off of Countryside Lane to spend some much needed play time with our other friends in Third Grade! Each class also walked to the Dairy Queen to enjoy a tasty treat before heading back to the park. Thursday we played all-school Bingo and said goodbye for the summer! These wonderful kids are loved and will be missed! Have a fabulous summer with your families!
